The X8S offers precision control for your comfort and indoor air quality*. You can adjust it remotely using the Resideo app, where it also works with other compatible smart home products for video, safety, and water leak detection.
It’s compatible with First Alert VX1 and Ring video doorbells (sold separately), so you can see and speak to visitors right from the thermostat. The X8S is Matter certified and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Home for easy smart home integration.
This thermostat supports up to 3 heat/2 cool heat pump systems with electric backup, or 2 heat/2 cool conventional systems. It also works with Honeywell Home Room Sensors (sold separately).

It works with most systems, including heat pumps and forced air (gas, oil, or electric), but is not compatible with electric baseboard heat. Requires a 2.4 or 5.0 GHz WiFi router and a C-wire; if your system lacks one, a voucher for a free C-Wire Adapter is included.
